KCU Women Hand Union 22-pt Loss
Grayson, KY – The Kentucky Christian women’s basketball team played host to the Bulldogs of Union College as a part of this mid-week Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) women’s/men’s doubleheader. When the final horn had sounded, the Lady Knights owned a 79-57 win.
Four different players reached the double figure threshold with Jasmine Flowers leading her team’s efforts. Flowers had 16-pts on 5-10 shooting from the field and connected on 3 3-pt shots. Right behind her was Jada Higgins with a 13 pt., 11 rebound double-double including six assists and two steals.
Kylie Gilliam was perfect from behind the arc leading all players with a 4-4 night. She was 5-7 overall and tallied 14 pts. Coming off the bench for the Knights, Cassie Baygents was the final member of the double-digit parade as she recorded 10 pts and eight rebounds to go with six blocked shots.
