KCU Women Fall at Milligan
Elizabethton, TN – The Kentucky Christian women’s basketball team found themselves in Tennessee today taking on the Buffs of Milligan University. Having defeated MU during the 1st semester on Ron Arnett Court in Grayson, the Lady Knights sought to complete the season sweep. Milligan was just as focused to defend their home court and won the game, 60-74.
Leading the way for KCU, Jada Higgins dropped 25 pts on 9-14 from the floor and had a 7-9 night from the free throw line. She also grabbed five rebounds with an assist, two blocks and a blocked shot. Lakyn Adkins also reached double-digits by putting up 10 pts. while snagging seven rebounds and two steals. With four assists, Abby West led the the Lady Knights.
Who's Up Next
As part of an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) doubleheader next Saturday, the women will play St. Andrews University. The game is set to begin at 2:00 PM.
