Knights Senior Day a Huge Success
Grayson, KY – The Kentucky Christian University football team celebrated it's 2021 Senior Day with a 49-35 win over Union College. The victory concluded the 2020-21 season with a 6-2 record and the highest single-season winning percentage (75%) in program history.
Knights Stats
- Jakwon Roberts (SR/Smiths Station, AL) was 17-32 for 211 yards (35-yard long) throwing the ball and one rushing touchdown of 57 yards. For the season, Roberts has produced 20 touchdowns through the air and rushed for an additional four TDs.
- Leading the ground game, De'Anta Sipp (SR/Senatobia, MS) rushed for 130 yards on 25 attempts with a touchdown and to finish off his day he was named the Homecoming "King".
- Tyrese Christian (FR/Chicago, IL) just missed reaching the 100-yd plateau with 88 yards rushing on 12 attempts.
- Diego Soto (FR/Orange Park, FL) accounted for three receiving touchdowns and 87-yds through the air. He hauled in seven passes. Brendan Ray (JR/Birmingham, AL) accounted for the other receiving touchdown.
- Defensively, Devin Bacchus (JR/Homewood, AL) led the team with eight tackles followed by the trio of James Castleberry (SR/Woodstock, GA), Lilton Horne (SO/Washington Park, FL) and Trey Malashevich (SR/Ceredo, WV) with six tackles each. Castleberry also chipped in two quarterback sacks for his afternoon's efforts

- The Knights posted 511 total offensive yards and seven touchdowns.
- KCU had 300 rushing yards for the game.
