Knights Lose at Siena Heights

Adrian, MI – KCU women's soccer are in Michigan for a two game road trip. First up are the Saints of Siena Heights University, unfortunately for Kentucky Christian, SHU was able to defend their home pitch as they beat the Knights 0-4 in the first night game of the season for KCU.

Knights Stats

• Anissa Trujillo (SO/Brighton, CO) managed the only shot on goal for KCU but was unable to find the back of the net.
• The remainder of the Knights offense consisted of shots by Alex Coburn (JR/Mt. Sterling, KY) and Cacia Larsen (SO/Salt Lake City, UT).
• Millie Conod (FR/Walsall, England) stopped nine of the 13 shots she faced.

Team Totals

• Defensively, KCU faced 30 total shots and surrendered only four goals.

The Winning Factor

• Saints forward, Marissa Young collected a hat-trick for SHU.
