Lady Knights Defeat Johnson (FL) on the Road

Kissimmee, FL - The Lady Knights travled down to Florida to take on Johnson University in Kissimmee, Florida before Christmas. The Lady Knights outscored the Suns 24-5 in the first quarter. The Suns fought back in the second quarter but KCU still led 40-20 going into halftime. The Lady Knights led 56-30 going into the fourth and final quarter of the game. Despite outscoring the Lady Knights by 1 point the Suns could not catch up to KCU. The Lady Knights defeated Johnson 73-48. 

The Lady Knights outrebounded the Suns 36 to 27, had more assists 23-10, but had less turnovers. KCU had only 9 turnovers to Johnson's 23. KCU shot 42.3% overall from the field while Johnson shot 38.8%.
