KCU Men Have Tough Evening vs Point

Grayson, KY – In a scheduling oddity, the KCU men's soccer team found themselves playing their third game in as many days and given their opponent, it turned out to be a very difficult task.

The Knights kept the game close during the first half with a 0-2 score at the end of the first 45 minutes. However, the Skyhawks poured it on in the second stanza to post the 0-10 final score.

Knights Stats

• Jonathan Cosenza (JR/Beavercreek, OH) and Nathan Haley (FR/King, NC) placed one shot each on goal during their 90 minutes on the pitch.
• Caleb DuBois (JR/Signal Mountain, TN) and Brett Ferguson (FR/Seaman, OH) combined to register 11 saves.

The Winning Factor

• Point maintained strong, consistent pressure on the Knights defense throughout the contest. The scoreboard revealed their efforts.

Who's Up Next

The men will also travel to Union College next Wednesday (10/27). Their game will be a 7:00 PM start versus the Bulldogs.
