Knights Golf Finishes 5th at NCCAA Regionals
Cohutta, GA - The Knights battled rain and Mother Nature for the third straight tournament as they competed in the Men's NCCAA Mideast Regional at the Nob North GS in Cohutta, Georgia. The course was set to a par 72/6,608 yds. for the event.
Sophomore Matthew Miller finished in 7th place and collected All-Tournament Honors. Miller shot a solid 78 in round one while dealing with multiple weather delays that lengthened the round to just over nine hours. He started the final round with a strong front nine of even par 36 to take the individual lead with 9 holes to play but struggled with a final nine 44 to fall back to 7th place. The Knights finished the tournament in fifth place after shooting 333 in the first round and 339 the following day for a tournament final score of 672.
