Hoopers Across the Coalfields

This post is brought to you by: Mingua Beef Jerky, Double Quick, MGC Supply United Way Teams Up with Area Coaches to Put On Free Event for Hoopers Across the Coalfields Big shout out to United Way and the Ashland Area YMCA for putting together a free basketball camp for kids 3rd-8th grades yesterday evening in Ashland. There were nearly 150 kids there from Kentucky, Ohio & West Virginia all ready to improve their skills and learn from the best trainers in the area. The list of instructors was highly impressive, you had Kentucky Christian Head Coach Charlie Pack and the KCU Knights, Huntington Expression Prep Head Coach Arkell Bruce brought his players & coaching staff and the whole event kicked off with former Marshall Coach Dan D’Antoni giving an opening speech. The Camp was a big hit and the kids got better at the game of basketball, we are very lucky to have folks like United Way supporting our kids and our community.
