Knights Lose to MBU Sabercats
Greenville, SC – While the Knights placed four players in double figures for this elimination game, it was not enough to finish the season on a winning note as KCU lost to the Sabercats 85-78.
KCU was led in scoring by Brandon Barnes and Hayden Dunn. Barnes was 6-16 from the field with all of his made field goals coming behind the arc to help bring his total to 21 points. With 20 points, Dunn was 7-15 fgs and 6-9 from the line. Leading the Knights on the glass were the duo of Owens Crawford and Chase Porter as they totaled nine boards each. Crawford also dished out six assists to go with his 14-point effort. Trenton Walker rounds out the double digit scorers with 12 points.
Kentucky Christian finishes the season with a 15-16 record and look forward to year two under coach Akeem Scott's leadership.
