Morehead State Downs Knights

Morehead, KY – The Knights traveled 35 miles west on I64 to Morehead, KY to take on the Eagles of Morehead State University. In a promotional game set before approximately 2,500 elementary and junior high school students, KCU lost to the NCAA I home team 57-85.

Kentucky Christian placed three players in double figures as Hayden Dunn led the way with 14 points which also included two 3-pointers. To go along with Dunn was Cole Gilliland and his 12 points and his team leading seven rebounds. Brandon Barnes rounded out the Knights in double digits with 11 points and four assists which was a team leading number with teammate Chase Porter.

KCU is on the road again Saturday as they travel to Lynchburg, VA for a 2:00 PM tip-off with Liberty University.
