Fairchild is 1st Bass Fishing Signee
Grayson, KY – The Kentucky Christian University Bass Fishing team has signed their first team member and his name is Justin Fairchild. The 2018 Raceland High School graduate credits his fishing/angling experience to his youth as he frequently fished many of the big lakes within the United States with his father, family, friends.
Justin played multiple sports throughout his years in school and was part of the Raceland Baseball team, Football team, and dabbled in the basketball team a time or two. A former member of the KCU baseball team, he is now concentrating his efforts on Bass Fishing and Archery. He is the son of Brad and Hannah Fairchild of Raceland, KY.
Head Coach Brian Slone had this to say about Justin, "Justin, as a child and into his early adulthood, was a student my wife tutored, taught, and mentored … she had a big part in his development. Edyie Slone's impact led him into the field of middle school education, which he is studying now at KCU. He is a leader that represents the 3 Cs perfectly; Christ, Character, and now working on his Career."
Congratulations Justin, on being the first of many members of the KCU Bass Fishing Team.
