Knights Show Fight but Fall 41–20 on Senior Day to Point University
Grayson, KY – November 15, 2025 — On a day dedicated to honoring Kentucky Christian's senior class, the Knights battled throughout but ultimately fell 41–20 to Point University in their 2025 season finale. Despite the result, KCU once again showcased its explosive offensive potential, racking up 497 total yards and producing several highlight-level plays through the air.
The Knights struck first midway through the opening quarter when quarterback Jackson Wasik led an 80-yard march over 11 plays, capping the drive with an 18-yard touchdown strike to Jordan West. After Point responded late in the first, KCU regained the lead early in the second quarter when Jalen Briscoe hauled in a 27-yard touchdown, followed by a successful two-point conversion by Wasik to make it 14–7.
Point answered with a touchdown and then took advantage of a defensive score on a 30-yard interception return. But the Knights refused to fold. Wasik drove KCU 75 yards in just 1:26, finding Calvin Brown from nine yards out to pull the Knights within 21–20. Point added a late field goal to end the half up 24–20.
KCU continued to move the ball throughout the second half, but Point capitalized on field position and long drives to gradually extend the lead. The Knights still posted strong individual performances on offense. Wasik threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 89 yards, finishing as one of the most productive quarterbacks in the NAIA this season.
The receiving corps delivered once again, with:
Calvin Brown: 5 receptions, 87 yards, TD
Jordan West: 6 receptions, 73 yards, TD
Vaughn Johnson: 3 receptions, 70 yards
Jason Cobb: 3 receptions, 44 yards
Jalen Briscoe: 2 receptions, 35 yards, TD
Defensively, the Knights were led by the efforts of Chase Hall, JaTarius Randolph, Tyler Kelly, and a young unit that played heavy snaps against one of Point's most balanced offensive outings of the season.
Despite the loss, KCU's offense outgained Point overall (497 to 483), earned more first downs (23 to 20), and showed resilience throughout the afternoon.
With the 2025 season complete, the Knights close the year having produced one of the most explosive offenses in school history and significant growth on both sides of the ball. The program now turns toward 2026 with momentum, pride, and a foundation stronger than any era in KCU football.
