Knights Fall in Shootout at Pikeville, 51–42
Pikeville, KY – November 8, 2025 — In a high-scoring, back-and-forth
contest, the Kentucky Christian University Knights came up just short
on the road, falling 51–42 to the University of Pikeville.
After falling behind 17–0 early, the Knights roared back with 20
unanswered points in the second quarter to take a halftime lead.
Quarterback Jackson Wasik led the charge, completing 25 of 42 passes
for 390 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for two more
scores.
KCU's offense totaled 435 yards and 28 first downs, displaying
explosive balance through the air and on the ground.

Jalen Briscoe (WR): 8 receptions, 179 yards, 1 TD (54-yard long).

Dashawn Webster (LB): 7 total tackles, 1 sack; the emotional leader of
KCU's defense.
Chase Hall (LB): 6 tackles, 1.0 TFL; consistently around the football
and key to stopping Pikeville's rushing attack.
Tyler Kelly (DL): 3 tackles, 2 sacks; provided constant pressure in
the backfield.
Pikeville used a 20-point fourth quarter to rally past the Knights,
capitalizing on key turnovers late. Despite the result, KCU once again
showed grit and offensive firepower against one of the AAC's most
explosive teams.
"We left everything on the field today; however, we made too many
mistakes to win the ball game," said Head Coach Jason Aubry. "We will
be prepared for next week vs. Point."
The Knights will return home next week for Senior Day, hosting Point
University in Grayson for a 12 pm kickoff.
