Knights Cheer Coach Named

He has led cheer all around the United States along with many top programs in the world. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, he taught dance and coached cheer for the high school and all-star programs in the area.

Pereyra also became a tenure for the National Cheerleaders Association and was part of their Elite SPEED Staff and Choreography Staff. He then moved to Texas to cheer for the famous Navarro College Cheer, winning 2 Collegiate NCA Grand Championships and a silver World's medal on the Spirit of Texas IOC 6 team. He finally went to transfer to Morehead State University to win 3 more Collegiate UCS National Titles and a degree in Sport Management and General Business. He now manages the facility and operations for Empower Athletics with his wife Emaley Russell-Pereyra, coaching two new Florida National Championship teams.
