Knights Get Road Win in Laurinburg

Laurinburg, NC – Following a win by the Lady Knights in Game 1 at St. Andrews University, the Knights hope to get the brooms out and complete the sweep with a win in Game2. That is just what they did as the KCU men won the nightcap, 88-84.

Deondre Ross put up 29 pts to lead KCU in scoring as well as seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocked shots for his night’s work. Right behind Ross was David Woodard and his 28 pts, five rebounds, three steals and a blocked shot. The final Knights to reach double-digits in scoring, Kirk Pence, had 19pts and was 12-13 from the charity stripe.

The Knights return to the hardcourt next Wednesday as they travel to Tennessee Wesleyan University for a 7:30 PM tipoff.
