Coach Henry Joins KCU Softball Program
Coach Henry has been appointed as the new assistant softball coach at Kentucky Christian University (KCU), bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to player development. With a strong work ethic and a "head down, get dirty" mentality, Coach Henry has dedicated her career to softball, honing her skills under the guidance of some of the sport's top pioneers.
Over the past 13 years, Coach Henry has coached various travel teams, emphasizing skill development, team leadership, and fostering a lifelong love of the game. Currently serving as the head coach of Mid Michigan Chaos, she specializes in pitching instruction, game strategy, and creating individualized workout programs. Her expertise spans all positions, and she is recognized for her detailed practice planning, slapping technique coaching, and innovative approaches to strength and arm care.
KCU Head Softball Coach Ritchhart expressed his enthusiasm for Coach Henry's addition to the coaching staff, stating, "I am extremely excited for myself and the players to bring Coach Henry to our coaching staff. She has a love for being a student of the game, and a love for her players. We are grateful for the Lord blessing us to bring her to KCU!"
