Wilberforce, OH — October 18, 2025 — The Kentucky Christian University Knights earned one of the biggest wins in program history Saturday, defeating NCAA Division II Central State University 35–27 on the road at McPherson Memorial Stadium.
The Knights came out firing behind quarterback Jackson Wasik, who threw for 408 yards and five touchdowns. Jalen Briscoe led all receivers with 134 yards and two scores, while Jason Cobb, Miles Thomas, and Calvin Brown each added touchdown receptions.
KCU's offensive explosion built a commanding 28–0 lead before halftime. Central State mounted a second-half rally, but the Knights' defense showed remarkable poise, holding strong in the fourth quarter to secure the upset victory.
"I was very happy with our offensive production in the first half, but we need to learn how to finish a game strong," said Head Coach Jason Aubry. "Our defensive resilience was amazing in the 4th quarter! Our young men fought extremely hard for this victory!"
The statement win marks a signature moment for the KCU football program, as the NAIA Knights took down a respected NCAA Division II opponent. KCU improves to 3–3 overall (1–1 AAC) and will look to build on this milestone performance as conference play continues.
