Kylie Mathes Named to All-Region NAIA - 1 - Second Team
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced the selection of Kylie Mathes to the 2025 NFCA NAIA All-Region teams, recognizing her as a member of the NAIA - 1 - Second Team. This prestigious honor highlights the exceptional talent and dedication of student-athletes across the nation.
A total of 150 student-athletes from 66 schools were selected for the All-Region teams, with nine schools having three players chosen, 17 schools receiving two selections, and 27 schools represented by one player. The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of student-athletes from the Association's six NAIA regions. NFCA member head coaches play a crucial role in this process, as they nominate and vote for the winners in their respective regions.
In addition to the All-Region selections, conference Players and Pitchers of the Year from member institutions are also considered for the second team, provided they are nominated by their head coach and receive sufficient votes. This ensures that the most deserving athletes are recognized for their contributions to the sport.
All honorees will advance to the next stage of recognition, as they are considered for selection to the two NFCA NAIA All-America teams. The announcement of the All-America teams is scheduled for June 5, further showcasing the talent and hard work of these exceptional athletes.
