Evan Juniper Earns AAC POW Honors
WALESKA, Ga. - Cameron Harvey of Bryan and Evan Juniper of Kentucky Christian are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the 10th edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 24.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Cameron Harvey - Bryan - Junior - Statesboro, Ga.
- Posted a complete-game, two-hit shutout over Reinhardt.
- Tossed 9 innings, allowing 0 runs, 2, hits, and 2 walks in the 6-0 win.
- Struck out 9 batters.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Evan Juniper - Kentucky Christian - Junior - Huntington, W.Va.
- Batted .571 with a 1.714 slugging percentage as Kentucky Christian went 2-1 on the week.
- Drove in 9 runs and scored 3 times.
- Had 2 doubles and 2 home runs on the week.
- Walked 4 times.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
