Knights Swept by Bryan

Dayton, TN – Kentucky Christian showed up at Bryan College for their 3-game weekend series on Friday and the Lions made it a point to not give the Knights any hope of a win. BC won all three games and took no prisoners in doing so.
Game 1 (KCU 1 – BC 11)
- Aidan Bevan was 2-3 and scored KCU’s only run.
- Going 2-4, Cristian Garcia had the only RBI.
- Sam Goude was tagged with the loss. He gave up four earned runs and walked three.
Game 2 (KCU 1 – BC 24)
- Cole Thomason was the lone bright spot offensively as he was 1-2. That hit was a round-tripper, which accounted for his run scored and RBI.
- Cam Marushi and Yan Rivera had the other two hits for the Knights offense.
- Elijah Spurlock took the loss, giving up eight earned runs. He struck out two and walked two as well.
Game 2 (KCU 6 – BC 14)
- The Knights hit four out of the yard (Shade Hutchinson, Evan Juniper, Cole Ottersburg, and Yan Rivera) but it was of little consequence.
- Marushi and Max Moore both had doubles
- Cole Riley gave up five earned runs, struck out one and walked five in the loss.
Who's Up Next
The Knights will step outside the AAC and host Wright State Lake University in a pair of doubleheaders April 7-8.
