KCU Knights Handle SAU
Grayson, KY - For the final home game of the 2022 fall semester, Kentucky Christian welcomed the St. Andrews University Knights to Ron Arnett Court in the Damron Hall of Champions for an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) matchup. With a depleted lineup, SAU couldn’t mount the necessary defensive effort for most of the game and KCU won going away, 111-82.
KCU placed six players in double figures, led by Kourtney Ware’s 25 pts and eight rebounds. Ware was 10-13 from the floor while being credited with four assists, two steals, and two blocks. Deondre Ross finished just behind his running mate with 22 pts on 10-14 shooting adding four assists and two steals.
With a double-double, Kerby Dumay finished with 14 pts and 10 rebounds. He was also credited with a game-high six assists. David Woodard dropped in 19 pts along with a team-high three 3-point shots while shooting 7-11 during the game.
The final two players to reach the double-digit threshold, David McCallum and Miles Shipp, finished the contest with 12 and 10 pts, respectively.

Kentucky Christian will travel to Tennessee Tech next Tuesday, Dec. 20th. The opening tip is slated for 7:00 PM.
