Knights Hand Milligan 12-pt Loss

Grayson, KY - After holding the slimmest of leads following the first half, the Knights put up a 52-pt second half to win this AAC matchup, 90-78. With the win and the women’s victory, KCU pulled out the brooms to claim the sweep over the Buffs.

Kourtney Ware paced all scorers with 40 pts on 14-28 (4 3-pters) from the floor and 8-11 at the charity stripe. He also hauled down 11 rebounds and claimed his first double-double of the young season while being credited with four assists and three steals. With a fine performance of his own, David Woodard added 18 pts, three rebounds, an assist and a steal for his evening’s work.

Also passing the double-digit plateau, Deondre Ross and Isaiah Francis had 10-pts each. Ross claimed two rebounds, four assists and a steal while Francis just missed his own double-double by grabbing nine rebounds during the game.
