KCU Loses in Four at Milligan
Elizabethton, TN - Trying the get a conference road win in the AAC is a tough task but that is what the VolleyKnights had on their agenda. Unfortunately, they would fall short, as the Buffs were able to stave off any upset bid as Milligan won the match 1-3 (13-25, 21-25, 25-17, 21-25)
Kristin Upshaw-Mendoza added another double-double to her season as she collected 11 kills/11 digs with three aces, a solo and three assisted blocks. Right there with her were the trio of Emily Adkins (six kills, a solo and two assisted blocks), Delanie Gilliland (eight kills and an assisted block), and Grace Morris (seven kills, a solo and five assisted blocks).
Kileigh Boggs (18) and Lyndi Starkey (17) combined for 35 assists as the two ran the Knights offense. In the back row, Ashlyn Funk led the team with 15 digs.
