Cavaliers Handle KCU

Montreat, NC – The Kentucky Christian women’s basketball team hoped to gain another AAC road win as they traveled to Montreat College. Unfortunately, the home team had different plans and the Cavaliers handed the Lady Knights a 26-pt loss.
Only two Knights reached double-figures. Abby West led the offense for the visitors with 14 pts on 5-9 shooting and was 3-6 from behind the arc. Jada Higgins collected 13 pts with a 3-pter and a perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe. She also dished out three assists.
Lakyn Adkins pulled down seven rebounds to lead the Lady Knights.

KCU will return to the DHOC/RAC next Tuesday for a 5:30 PM game with Brenau University.
