The Knights brought the excitement for their first game in the NCCAA Division II National Tournament. After trailing most of the game, the Knights took the lead late in the second half thanks to Junior Matthew Lee's game changing bucket.

Manhattan's #14 Mike White received a foul followed by a technical, taking him out of the game with a team high of 19 total points. This coupled with Lee's bucket completely shifted the momentum of this game in the Knights favor.

Freshman Point Guard Owens Crawford was unwavering handling the Thunder's pressure most of the game. He showed up big with 12 points, two of those being huge three pointers for the Knights. With numerous assists and only one turnover, Crawford played a tough 39 minutes.

Sophomore Conner Gauze also showed up big for the Knights with 16 points and five rebounds. He was a force to reckon with under the basket, staying strong against the Thunder's defense.

Other notable players include Freshman Trenton Walker, a tremendous defensive player, who had seven rebounds for the Knights. All American Hayden Dunn also had a great game, scoring the team high of 19 points and seven rebounds. Brandon Barnes and Nick Miller scored 11 and 12 points, respectively with perfect free throw percentages down the stretch to secure the win for the Knights.

Kentucky Christian will take on the University of Valley Forge tomorrow at 4:00 PM (5:00 PM EST).
